Antique papier mache 26" doll with stuffed body, papier mache head, hands and legs. All the fingers are fine. The legs have blue painted socks with black painted shoes. Her clothing is original. The blue and gold silk dress has splits and soil marks. The lace collar is sewn on and has a sterling and enamel pin. The top of the dress is separate from the bottom skirt. The top also has a slit. Her cotton slip and pantaloons are trimmed in lace and have a button closure on each. No tears to either. Her blond hair is sparse. There are no craze marks to her head or shoulder plate. Despite her few flaws, she could be improved on and made a nice old doll of this paper mache kind. I think she is from the 1870's. Thanks for viewing.
