Antique Vintage 1900s Authentic Konyak Naga Cobalt Blue Glass Bead Necklace. This is an extremely unique antique necklace handmade and worn by the Konyak Naga tribe. It consists of 60 strands of cobalt blue glass beads (possibly lapis lazuli) as well as red bead accents towards the clasp (likely coral). The clasp is made from an old bronze coin labeled “one quarter India 1908” on one side and “Edward VII King & Emperor” on the other side. The coin is held together with tightly hand-woven macrame that is discolored due to age and wear. Necklace is in excellent vintage condition with no loose strands or beads missing. The necklace measures ~23 inches in length. Please see photos for further details and condition.
