This is an unusual early 1900s era ELECTRIC cowl/ carriage lamp. the access door for changing the bulb is missing but the hinge and latch are there. lower finial is missing and would need to be fabricated or remove entirely, This has its original (and incredibly old) bulb that is for a bayonet style receptical.
